Pre-Audition Masterclasses

Booking is now open for our 'Pre-Audition Masterclass' lead by LCB ballet mistress (2015, 2016) Amy Hollins on Saturday16 September and Sarah Du Feu on Sunday 24th September, LCB Tour Ballet mistress and audition leader 2019/2022.

LCB is running these masterclasses to help to boost dancer's confidence and performance skills. We know some young dancers may feel out of practice, nervous or rusty after a year of not being in the studio and having missed out on live performance opportunities. We hope these Masterclasses will help dancers feel confident about performing and auditioning again and aid in preparation for any other opportunities they may have over the coming months.

Dancers do NOT have to be auditioning for the LCB production or tour to take part.

Post-Audition Masterclass

LCB holds an annual post-audition Masterclass, led by a distinguished ballerina. The Masterclass is offered to children who auditioned for the main LCB production but were not selected for the Company. The purpose of this Masterclass is to boost children’s confidence, work on audition technique and presentation skills, learn what audition judges are looking for, and help children to identify what they personally need to work on. Children receive personalised advice from the leader of the workshop. There is always a nurturing environment, and the goal is to help children to do better at auditions in the future.

The LCB Masterclass is by invitation only; participation is offered exclusively to children who audition for the LCB Company.

The booking link will be emailed to 2023 auditionees week commencing the 11th December.

LCB Masterclass

Led by former Royal Ballet dancer and experienced Ballet Master Erico Montes

To guide and encourage young dancers who want to improve and practise their foundation skills. Lead by ex RB dancer and experienced Ballet Master Erico Montes.
